WHAT I LEARNED WHEN I READ THE BIBLE God knows our needs even before we do. He knows what we will say before we say it. “Before he had finished praying…” (Genesis 24:15). God answered the servant’s prayer to find Isaac a wife, WHILE the servant was praying. God often blesses us even before we ask. It is as though God is saying, “Would you get a move on it? I need to push my plan forward.” While Abraham’s servant is asking God to send the woman He has chosen to be Isaac’s wife, God acts. How many times has God done the same for us? Blessings and provisions received before we finish a sentence, or, before we even ask! “Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear.” (Isaiah 65:24 NIV).
