I love to describe marriage as a mirror to our soul. The moment we said “I Do” our spouse was placed in front of us, nose to nose, as a reflection of our true self.
There is no more hiding who we really are after we marry, and that’s a good thing. “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” Proverbs 27:17. Marriage is one way God helps us grow.
