Hospitality vs Entertaining.

You know I talk about this a lot. Entertaining is how we choose to execute the form in which we show hospitality. Not being able to entertain perfectly, though, does not mean we stop showing hospitality. If you resist hosting friends in your home because things are not “perfect,” then you have let entertaining become more important than extending hospitality. This thinking is flawed. Go with what life brings you and embrace the fact no day is perfect. We hosted a post-wedding brunch for our son and daughter (in law) and my imperfect powder room was on display! When life gives you lemons..., or in my case, when life gives you a hole in your wall, give it a name and a happy face!
